Good afternoon, Ian Bazalgette Community.

With only thirteen days remaining in the school year the school is in an state of both celebration and preparation. Thursday's Celebration of Learning Evening was an amazing event, with well over three hundred families in attendance throughout the evening. Our students proudly shared highlights of their learning, and enjoyed food and laughter. Thank you to the staff for an incredible year of learning, and for making wonderful displays of that learning to share with families.

This coming week marks the beginning of the Final Assessments Period for the school. Please review the Final Assessments Schedule to ensure proper planning time for preparation and studying, and to ensure students know when their final assessment is scheduled.

Moving over the Summer?

As we begin the planning process, it is important to have an accurate idea of the number of students returning to us for the 2024-202 school year.  Extra students may mean the need to hire another teacher, while fewer students may mean the opposite.  If you are planning on moving over the summer or have enrolled your child in an alternative program or school please an email to Mrs. Ditlof at slditlof@cbe.ab.ca letting us know where you will be moving, school name, and the full name of your child.  Thank you for helping us in this process.
